Here are a few words of wisdom:
Fireworks have long been associated with celebrations. They add an
exciting touch to any big event, lighting up the sky with both power and
beauty. Now listen to these words by Ed Koch, former mayor of New York
City and presiding judge of the "People's Court":
The fireworks begin today. Each diploma is a lighted match,
Each one of you a fuse.
Today, we celebrate our graduating seniors as they move out into the
world, each carrying a unique set of skills and talents . . .  each with his or
her own unique brand of genius.
This unique brand of genius will manifest in as many ways as there are
students graduating. Some will show genius in sales, some in business,
some in gardening. the culinary arts, or fashion. Some will prove their
genius in art, education, medicine, child care, construction, law
enforcement, or public service. Some will show genius with a special ability
to love and serve others. But whatever it is they choose to do in the years
ahead, one thing is for certain: Each one is capable of lighting up his or her
corner of the world like fireworks in the night sky.
Congratulations, Seniors!

With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not.

The choice is yours.
