**We've talked many times about the fact that the root meaning of the word
kind means"natural, native, inborn." If you think about it, babies are born
innocent. They don't know how to be anything but trusting an good; they
simply don't know how to be mean-spirited. Kindness is a virtue we are
born with, and being kind is a natural part of who we are.
Today, tap into that part of yourself that naturally wants to be kind to
others, and then look for opportunities to be kindhearted. In the words of
the great Roman philosopher Seneca:

there is an opportunity for kindness.
Today, be your true self and commit random acts of kindness.
