***Here are a few words of wisdom:

Did you know that before 1833 there were no public libraries in America?

Today, there's a library in almost every public school and most of us own

books. If one our ancient ancestors were to travel through time and

suddenly find herself in the late twenty-first century, she would be awed by

the wealth of books we Americans own, or have access to.

Now listen to what the great American writer Henry David Thoreau has to

say about books:

Books are the treasured wealth of the world.

So think about this: Do you want to live a richer life? You can enrich the

quality of your life by learning to appreciate the value of books. Tonight,

turn off the television and the radio and stay off the telephone. Discover a

real treasure-a good book.

With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not.

The choice is yours.
