***Happy Birthday on Sunday to Kaylee , John , Seth and Morgan
**Lunch for today is: Pepperoni Pizza or Parmesan Chicken Bites
***Breakfast for Monday is: Brekkie or Choice of Cereal
***Lunch for Monday: Beef Hot Dog or Hot Ham & Cheese flatbread
***There will be an FFA Blue and Gold night tonight in the Ag. Room from 6-7:30 pm. We will be working on SAE’s and snacks will be served. Please attend
***Any 8th-11th grade students planning to play football next fall please plan to attend a meeting in Bowler on Wednesday November 15th. Coach Nelson will drive a van leaving at 2:30 pm and will return at 3:40 pm to Gresham.
***Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade basketball team
on their win against Bowler.
***HS Girls basketball have a scrimmage game
Saturday (H) @ 9:00 am against Bowler
**Next week there is Parent Teacher Conference;
from 3:45 to 7:15 PM on Tuesday, November 14th there will be
No Afternoon Homework Club. Also on Thursday NOV. 16, for it will
be a Half day; so there will be early release for students on Thursday @ 11:10 AM
with Parent Teacher Conferences starting at Noon till 4PM.
***No 10th hour next Tuesday or Thursday also.
***Here are a few words of wisdom:
Tomorrow is Veterans Day, a day set aside to honor
those who have served in the American armed forces.
So do you know someone who has served in the American armed forces?
. . . a parent or relative, a teacher or neighbor? Now is a great time to
thank them for their service to our nation? You might ask them where they
served and for how long. How did their time in the armed forces affect
them? What was good about the experience ? What did they learn from it?
On this Veterans day, remember this: Honoring a veteran on Veterans Day
can mean nothing more than a simple acknowledgement and a sincere
thank you, one human being to another.
