***There will be play practice on Wednesday, and Friday this week during 9th hour. Only students who are not behind or not missing assignments in their classes should attend. After school rehearsals will begin after the Winter Break.
Attention Juniors: Permission slips and Pre-excused forms need to be turned in
this Friday by 3 PM to attend the college Day event next week.

***Congratulations to the JV & Varsity Lady Wildcats on their win last night
The Gresham Lady Wildcats JV team won 45-32. The Lady Wildcats were
paced by: Tia 11 points Emily 8 points and Addison 8 pts.
The Gresham Lady Wildcats Varsity team won 48-39.
The Lady Wildcats were led by: Maddie 22 points Lexi 9 points and Jocelyn 8 points

Do you remember the root meaning of the word influence? It literally
means to flow in. You might say that when one person influences another,
the example he or she is setting flows into someone else.
When famous opera singer Leontyne Price was just nine years old, her
mother took her to hear Marian Anderson sing. Marian Anderson was the
first African-American to appear at New York City's Metropolitan Opera.
Marian Anderson's magnificent voice flowed into Leontyne Price and
influenced her forever. Ms. Price decided then and there to become a
great opera singer . . . . and she did!
For better or for worse, others greatly influence us. That's why studying
the lives of great people is so important. Today ask yourself this: Who in
the world is influencing me in a positive way and why?
