***Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams as they defeated Bowler in a 3-0 sweep of each match. The lady Wildcats will be back in action on Tuesday as they head to Tigerton to take on the Lady Tigers.
***FFA members that sold Fruit: It will be delivered today & available for pick up this afternoon. Please plan to pick up your order by 5:00 PM today. If there
is an issue with this please see Mr. Zobeck
***MS Girls Basketball turn in your uniforms by today, Friday, to avoid a fine.
A couple of you still have not turned your uniform in. You know who you are?
***Boys Basketball players please turn in your warm up tops and JV uniforms
by the end of the day, to Mr. Zobeck. After that fines will be issued.
***Here are a few words of wisdom:
When most of us hear the word discipline, we think of being punished,
but guess what. The word discipline has its roots in a word that means "learning."
So how did we ever go from discipline, meaning "learning," to discipline,
meaning "punishment?" Well, it is true that some of us learn only when
we have to pay a consequence for a bad choice. That's called "learning
the hard way."
But there's an easier way to learn. The easier way is to choose to be
self-discipline...to be a self-learner....to look around learn from
others....to learn from the mistakes others make so you won't make the
same choices...and to learn from the positive choices they make so
you can make good choices. And you can learn by simply listening to the
good advice of those who care about you and want you to be your best.
That's what self-discipline is all about. Today, choose to be a self-
learner. Choose to learn the easier way and discipline yourself.
