***NO Homework pick up Today, Wednesday;
pick up will be during office hours of 7:30 - 4:00 PM
***Today, Wednesday is a Half Day for MS & HS students. It is a B day;
with 5 - 8th hour classes.
***Congratulations to Ireland, Hannah, and Isabella
on their first place finishes in the 100 meter hurdle relay and team high jump events on Tuesday night.
The Boys finished 2nd as a team and the girls finished 3rd as a team.
***Congratulations to the Baseball team on their win against Marion 12 -3
***There will be a FFA roadside clean-up with steak fry today, Wednesday,
April 28th, right after school until 2pm. All FFA members are required to come and participate.
***Play practice this week during 2nd half of 9th Hour on Tuesday and Thursday for all Play students. Students who have a script for "Chasing Charming" who are no longer participating need to turn in their scripts to Mrs. Koz.

A mosaic is a beautiful design made up of many, many small pieces of
colored glass or stone. Have you seen one? Little pieces are carefully
placed side by side until together they make a beautiful work of art.
Former President Jimmy Carter believes that Americans, living side by
side, form a beautiful mosaic of human beings. Listen to his words:
We [are] not a melting pot, but a beautiful mosaic.
Different people, different beliefs, different yearning,
different hopes, different dreams.
In other words, one thing that makes America so beautiful is that
Americans come in so many different colors, shapes, sizes and
religions. It's what makes America not only beautiful, but powerful.
Without all our different colors, shapes, sizes, and religions, our nation
wouldn't be as beautiful or as powerful. Today, think about the beautiful
mosaic of human beings living in America.
