***MS Boys Basketball have practice after school
***HS Girls Basketball have practice from 4:30 - 6:30 PM

***Reminder that Thursday is a half day; students are released at 11:10 AM

Abigail Adams was first lady of the White House and the wife of John
Adams, second president of the United States. Although Mrs. Adams had
very little formal education, she became one of the most educated women
of her time. How? She educated herself by reading, by studying, and by
spending time with brilliant people.
Now listen to her words, written two hundred years ago:
Learning is not gained by chance, it must be sought for
with ardor and attended to with diligence.
Mrs. Adams is saying we should look for opportunities to learn and look
with ardor, which means with excitement and passion. In other words, we
need to get excited about learning and never miss an opportunity to learn
something new. Why? Because with every opportunity to learn something
new comes an opportunity for a little more success, happiness, and wisdom.
