***Students who are interested in trying out for the Spring Musical, please stop by Mrs. Koz and take a script to practice at home. Tryouts will tomorrow

***High School students interested in being a Big Brother or Big Sister

***The Student Council will start selling candy canes at all three lunches beginning
Monday, December 6. Candy canes will be sold for $.50 each and will be delivered to classrooms on Wednesday, December 22. Also Student Council members need to sign up to work candy cane sales (at least two shifts).
*** There will be an informational Quiz Bowl meeting during 9th hour next Friday, December 10th for any interested students in grades 9-12. Please see Mrs. Brockman with any questions.
***Here are a few words of wisdom:
Have you ever watched a smart aleck in action? She'll laugh if you stumble
on your words or stumble down the stairs. She'll throw wisecracks if she
thinks you're too smart or too dumb, too small or too big.
In Italy they say:
He who judges others condemns himself.
In other words, people who put other people down, put themselves down,
too. Why? Because they not only lose the respect of others, they lose
self-respect.
So next time someone is making fun of you, remember this: She's being
rude because she doesn't feel good about herself. She doesn't have
enough self-confidence to get attention in a better way.
Today, let's be respectful of ourselves by being respectful of others.
