Today is a B Day
Announcements for today include:
***Happy Birthday to Mandylynn
***Lunch for today is: Chicken Nachos or Grilled Chicken Salad
***Wednesday for Lunch is: Soft Beef Tacos or Max sticks
***The Lady Wildcats beat Manawa 57-49. This allows the Lady Wildcats to at least tie for a conference championship if we beat White Lake at White Lake on Friday.
The Lady Wildcats were led in scoring by: Madolyn 20 pts.
Hannah 11 pts. Hannah scored her 1000th pt. during the game, and
Manawa allowed her to keep the game ball.
***Students going to the Musical Hairspray tonight: Please be at the school by 5:15pm tonight. The bus will be leaving by 5:30 on the dot. Also bring money for a food stop on the way and either wear Gresham wear or something nice. If you haven’t turned in your yellow field trip form, this must be done before we go.
***MS & HS students; make sure you are; Checking your email daily!
***There will not be a 10th hour on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
***Seniors--Must do:
1. Cap & gown ordered is due TODAY--Josten's Online
2. Career Decisions ballot due
3. Organization/sports checklist was due last Friday.
***HS Boys JV/Varsity are away vs. Manawa @ 6 PM
***There will be a Student Council meeting in Mrs. Brockman's room on
Friday during the last 20 minutes of 6th hour: 12:54-1:14.
***Here are a few words of wisdom:
Have you heard Aesop's story "The Lion and the mouse"? It goes
something like this:
As the lion lies sleeping in the sunshine, the little mouse runs across his
paw and wakes him up. The lion is going to eat him up, when the little
mouse cries, "Oh, please, let me go. Someday I may help you." The big
lion thinks that's an amusing idea and decides to set the mouse free. Not
long after, the lion finds himself caught in a net and the little mouse gnaws
through the rope and sets the lion free.
So what's the moral of this story? Whether we are big or small, mighty or
meek, we all have within us the power
In the words of Sophocles (SOFF oh klees),
Kindness begets (produces) kindness . . .
Today, be a mighty individual. Be kind to others. It could make a big
difference in their lives, and maybe your own.
