***Here are a few words of wisdom:
Somerset Maugham (mau-am) is one of the most popular writers of the
twentieth century. He is best known for his novel Of Human Bondage.
Mr. Maugham is also known as a keen observer of human beings and how
we behave.
Listen to what he has to say to us today:
It's funny thing about life: if you refuse to accept
anything but the best, you very often get it.
That doesn't mean we should turn up our noses at every little thing that
doesn't please us. There's a wiser way of looking at Mr. Maugham's words.
For example, if you refuse to accept anything less than the best in terms of
your performance at school, you're likely to get the best grades possible.
Getting the best grades possible, may help move you toward your dreams.
Today and every day, be confident and expect only the best from yourself.
With something to think about, Make it a great day . . . . or not. The choice is yours.
