***Here are a few words of wisdom:

Listen to these words from the Rev. Jesse Jackson:

People who are victimized may not be responsible for

being down, but they must be responsible for getting up.

Some of us have been hurt much worse than others, but all of us get hurt

along the way. Although we've been hurt, we're not powerless, because we

always have the power of choice. We can choose to ask for help if we

need it. We can choose to forgive. We can choose to turn a bad

experience into something good.

Today, remember this: If you have been hurt or victimized, there are

people here at school who want to help you move past it. Talk to a

counselor or a teacher. Remember: You can choose to get up and get on

with your life.

With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not. The choice is yours.
