****Congratulations to the Boys Hoops team on their conference win over White Lake last night 51-42. Great game from all of the boys! Keep up the hard work!
***The Lady Wildcats lost to Manawa 69-35. The Lady Wildcats were led by
Maddie Haffner's 12 pts, Lexi 8 pts and Chloe 8 pts. The Lady Wildcats next opponent is the Bowler Panthers for the lead in the conference. The game starts at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 5th.
***Lunch for today is: Beefy Nachos or Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla
***Breakfast for Thursday is: Breakfast Bowl or cereal
***Thursday for Lunch is: Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Turkey BLT Wrap
***There will be Musical Rehearsal on Friday during 9th hour for
all students interested in the musical.
***8th grade boys basketball & HS School Boys Basketball have
practice today from 2:15-4:00 PM
***5th and 6th grade boys basketball practice on Friday January 6th from 3:30-4:30 pm in the back gym. Tournament on Saturday in Crandon.
***Booster Basketball starts this Saturday for those in grades 2nd-6th. Bring in your permission form; practice will be from 9:00-11 AM.
***Here are a few words of wisdom:
We've talked many times about the fact that the root meaning of the word
kind means "natural, native, inborn." If you think about it, babies are born
innocent. They don't know how to be anything but trusting and good; they
simply don't know how to be mean-spirited. Kindness is a virtue we are
born with, and being kind is a natural part of who we are.
Today, tap into that part of yourself that naturally wants to be kind to
others, and then look for opportunities to be kindhearted. In the words of
the great Roman philosopher, Seneca:

Today, be your true self and commit random acts of kindness.
