The Gresham Band students had an amazing opportunity to go see the Madison Symphony Orchestra this Thursday!! They got to hear some unique instruments, and hear music by some pretty famous composers like Gustav Holst and Arturo Márquez! The biggest thanks to Mr. Heninger for getting us to and from Madison safely!!

To cap off their learning about state and local government, the Law and Government students put on a simulation in which they took on the role of various stakeholders to address the issue of sprawl in the counties of the fictional state of Wisconsota. They had to present their opinions and recommendations to two commissions who them have to take those findings and create their own recommendations to Wisconsota’s governor (Mrs. Brockman).
