Gresham will be taking part in Winter Walk to School Month. The is run through the Safe Routes to School program. During the week of February 1-5 students are encouraged to participate outside for at least twenty minutes. This could include going for a walk, sledding, snowshoeing, playing in the snow, or any other outdoor activity. If a student participates, they should take a picture and send it to
socialmedia@gresham.k12.wi.us. All photos need to be sent in by Sunday, February 7th. The forecast temperatures look very cold for next weekend, so you may want to try to complete this by Friday. Students who participate will be entered in a drawing to win a prize at the end of the month. There is a Winter Walk to School coloring contest during the second week of February. Elementary students in grades K-5 received a copy of the coloring page last week. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Wild at
wildt@gresham.k12.wi.us or 715-787-3211 Ext. 808.

We are hoping to offer interested middle and high school students an opportunity to learn to knit during our intervention and enrichment period. We are looking for yarn and knitting needles the kids can use. If you have any spare knitting supplies that you'd be willing to donate, they can be dropped off at the school during the Wednesday evening homework exchanges (from 4-6 PM on Wednesdays). If you'd like to donate to our Donors Choose project, please visit the link below. Thank you! Any questions, see Mrs. Osborn.
