Penny Heroux has joined the staff of Gresham School as the K-5 Math Interventionist. Penny graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Math in 1998.
Penny started her career as the Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade teacher at St. John’s in Suring for 6 years. She then took some time away from the classroom to spend more time with her growing family. During that time, she was involved in many aspects of education including parent volunteer, substitute teacher, school committee member, and school marketing director. As her children grew, the opportunity came for her to head back into the classroom. This year will be her fifth year back in the classroom full time having previously taught at Gillett and Bowler.
