CESA 8 Regional Spelling Bee
The Varsity Boys Basketball game scheduled for Thursday February 23rd versus Northland Lutheran has been moved to Friday February 24th at 6:00 pm. Senior recognition at 5:30 pm prior to warmups starting at 5:40 pm.
Homework club had a special visitor last night.
The girls lost to Newman but had a great season.
Today students in US History II were challenged to organize dates, captions, and photos in the correct order as they began learning about the Pacific theater in World War II. Students worked together to try to determine which captions matched which date and then had to find the right photograph for each. This was new information so they had to work together and use the caption clues and think through the most logical sequence.
9th hour Circuit Training Group had some fun with this workout! The suit and number on the card determined how many reps of each was performed. The group is having fun trying different workouts designed throughout the week.
Thank you Crawford Family Foundation and Wisconsin Deerhunters Inc. Gresham for the scholarships. The fourth-grade class enjoyed their field trip to Navarino Nature Center.
Tonight's WIAA Girls Basketball Sub-Regional game at Newman Catholic in Wausau has been moved up to a 6:00 pm tip time due to the potential for inclement weather later this evening. Bus time is 4:00 pm for the team.

Friday February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. The 4th graders
celebrated by playing random acts of kindness bingo and painting a
kindness rock for someone special. They hope they will make someone
smile today!

Development of Drama class gave presentations after reading “Oedipus the King” sharing what they learned about Greek tragedies and the stages of a plot.
