On Thursday, January 5, Student Council members traveled to the state capital to tour the capitol and learn about our state government. It was a great trip and the consensus was that the the tour and opportunity to see what state government looks like was worthwhile!

The 4th graders have been learning about the Earth’s layers, plate tectonics, earthquakes, and tsunamis in literacy. They were scientists and made their own seismographs to better understand how earthquakes are measured.
