As part of “Bicycle Safety Month” in May, we will once again have a Bike to School event. Our Bike to School day will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd. We have many prizes donated to us from the Safe Routes to School Program. Students who participate in Bike to School Day will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize. We will have multiple staff members outside to assist with student safety on the morning of the event. Please be aware that there will be an increase in students on the route to school on Wednesday

Due to the prediction of rain on Saturday and Sunday, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Fun for Kids’ Sake has been postponed until Saturday, May 13th! We are hoping for great weather that day and hope to see a lot of people come out for a fun day! This is right after the Optimist’s Bike Rodeo, so it will be a great day to be in Shawano!
Two of our sixth grade students, Abby and Andrew, recently attended College Days for Kids at UWSP. They got to spend the day meeting new kids from around the state and attending a variety of classes taught by students and staff from UWSP.
