Today Mrs. Brockman's Psychology students worked with adults and children on an experiment about grouping. Students collected data and will analyze it to answer the question: "Do adults and children group people differently?" This experiment was a way to wrap up the unit learning about the Lifespan (from birth to death).

2nd through 5th graders who attended Homework Club Wednesday night, painted and assembled these amazing spooky Halloween lanterns.
A big thank you to Mrs. Buettner's son, Craig, who manufactured these fun crafts for our students.
Great job Wildcats!

Dear Parents, please read below and watch the video linked below.
Earlier today, we were informed by officials at the Menominee Indian School District that someone attempted an armed break-in at their school this week. District officials have told us that the suspect has not been apprehended.
As our cross-country team is scheduled to compete in the conference meet hosted by Menominee and our girls volleyball team is scheduled to compete against Menominee, I wanted to reach out to you.
While we understand that this crime remains under investigation, it is important to note that the cross country meet will take place at Middle Village approximately five miles from the school. The girls volleyball game will take place at the Menominee Indian High School. We have been advised that extra security will be at both events. Specifically, additional school resource officers, officers from the Menominee Tribal Police and Menominee County Sheriff's department, and conservation game wardens will be in attendance.
Menominee School Administration and the Menominee County and Menominee Tribal Police Department have determined that students are safe to participate in co-curricular events as scheduled, including the cross country meet and the girls volleyball game tonight.
Our priority is to keep all participants, coaches, and attendees safe. Therefore, the Gresham School Administration has been in contact with Menominee School Administration and other CWC schools throughout the day to be sure we have the most up-to-date information to ensure safety.
At this time, the decision is to attend the CWC conference cross country meet and the girls volleyball game as scheduled. However, if you prefer that your athlete not participate or have further questions, don't hesitate to contact Mr. Haffner.
As always, thank you for supporting our school district and the students it serves.

Gresham School will be participating in “Walk to School” day on Friday, October 14th. If students get a ride to school, they can still participate by being dropped off on Schabow Street, in the area between Main Street and Fischer Street, and walk the rest of the way to school. Students should use the sidewalk along Schabow Street and cross the street at the crosswalk in front of school. We will have multiple staff members in the parking lot and along the route to school to assist with student safety on the morning of the event. Please be aware that there will be an increase in students on the route to school on Friday. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Wild at wildt@gresham.k12.wi.us or 715-787-3211 Ext. 808.

Gresham has a new group of middle and high school knitters! We're still making great use of all the supplies everyone donated both directly and through our Donors Choose projects over the past two years. Thanks again to everyone who helped us get our materials!
