
Jackie Gueths has joined the staff of Gresham School as a 1st grade teacher. She graduated from St. Norberts College with a B.A. in elementary education and also graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Masters in Education. Jackie has been teaching for 26 years. She started her teaching career at Olga Brener Elementary School in Shawano. While there she taught grades 1, 3, and 4.
Jackie is married to Virgil, her wonderful husband of 20 years. They have 3 children; Isaiah, Samuel, and Josie Anna. They all attend Marion Jr/Sr High.
During her free time, Jackie enjoys watching her children participate in sporting events, game nights with family, camping, reading, and working in her garden. She is blessed with a wonderful family, caring friends, and a very supportive group of colleagues.
Jackie graduated from Gresham High School 32 years ago and is excited to be on the other end of where her education started.


Karen Braun has joined the staff of Gresham School as a 2nd grade teacher. Karen graduated from UW-River Falls in 1989 with a B.S. in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8) and also graduated from Viterbo University in 2004 with a M.A. in Education with a technology emphasis.
Karen just retired last spring from the Shawano School District where she taught for 32 years. She taught 1st grade for 8 years and 4th grade for 24 years. She is thrilled to have this new opportunity in Gresham and is already loving teaching 2nd grade!
Karen has been married to her husband, Marc, for 33 years. They have three grown children; Abbie (28), Ethan (25), and Evan (25). They also have 2 grandchildren; Adeline (4) and Cal (2). Grandbaby #3 is due at the end of December!
During her free time, Karen enjoys reading, gardening, collecting antiques, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Karen is very appreciative of the warm welcome she has received from her colleagues and the Gresham community!

Logan Kupsky is thrilled to be joining the Gresham School staff as a High School Special Education Aide. Logan graduated from Gresham Community School with the class of 2020. Even though they’ve only been gone for a little under 2 years, Logan is happy to be back as a staff member. Logan was attending UWGB to get their Bachelor’s in Theatre and Dance but is taking a break this year and taking things easy. Logan lives in Gresham with his family, where his younger siblings Lorelei (5th grade) and James (3rd Grade) both attend school here at Gresham.
In their free time, Logan enjoys dancing and cosplaying. He also streams on twitch when he has time, and he enjoys his community and friends very much. Playing games is their go to when they’re feeling stressed or down. Logan has an adorable orange cat named Amelia and an energetic border collie named Karmel.

Lisa Gleason is looking forward to a wonderful year as our new Cross-categorical Special Education teacher. Lisa was raised in Appleton Wisconsin and Graduated from UW Stevens Point with a Bachelors in Science degree focusing on Environmental Education. Over the last few years Lisa has been a substitute teacher for three local school districts and is making the transition to full time teaching here at Gresham.
Lisa is married to Brian Gleason, a special education teacher in a neighboring school district, and has four wonderful children that keep her on her toes. Michaela is 16 and lives for her animals and playing rugby, Evan is 14 years old and enjoys playing rugby, football and is taking up golf also. Corbin and Breckin are 10 years old and they love video games, playing rugby and being outside around our farmette.
Lisa enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing, and camping. She also finds peace in taking care of the animals on our farmette which include chickens, ducks, geese, goats, cats, dogs, and a pet snake.


Abby May has joined the staff of Gresham School as a Secretary starting in April. Abby graduated from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA with a B.S in Psychology with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
After graduating, she moved to Ohio with her husband, Brandon, and worked as a HR Coordinator for an automotive company for 9 years. Her husband’s job, at Genex, then took them to Canton, Pennsylvania for 7 years and now to Shawano county.
Abby has four children Emma (10th), Ethan (8th), Elizabeth (6th), and Elijah (4th) all attending school here at Gresham.
Abby enjoys working with the public everyday and helping to make everyone’s lives a little easier here at the district.


The MS Volleyball match at home versus White Lake on Thursday September 9th has been postponed. Practice instead after school.

Penny Heroux has joined the staff of Gresham School as the K-5 Math Interventionist. Penny graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Math in 1998.
Penny started her career as the Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade teacher at St. John’s in Suring for 6 years. She then took some time away from the classroom to spend more time with her growing family. During that time, she was involved in many aspects of education including parent volunteer, substitute teacher, school committee member, and school marketing director. As her children grew, the opportunity came for her to head back into the classroom. This year will be her fifth year back in the classroom full time having previously taught at Gillett and Bowler.
Penny and her husband Jamie have four children: Jerika and John in college and Phillip and Scott in High School in Gillett. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hunting, and scrapbooking.
Penny is looking forward to sharing her love of math education with students, families, and staff in Gresham.

The Gresham lady wildcats varsity volleyball team started their conference season tonight with a 3-0 victory at Northland Lutheran. They are now 6-2 overall on the season. The JV volleyball team also won 3-0. They improved their record to 9-0. The lady wildcats will host Wisconsin Valley Lutheran next Tuesday with JV starting at 6:00 and varsity will follow the JV match.

Katie Wild will be taking on a new role at Gresham School. She will be teaching 4th grade. Katie graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2003 with a dual degree in Special Education and Regular Education, grades 1-8. She has worked at the Gresham School for 11 years teaching elementary special education. She is excited to make the transition from special education to the general education classroom.
Katie has been married to Mr. Wild for 11 years. They have 3 girls, Bailey (age 8), Jordi (age 4), and Hallie (age 1). Besides chasing her 3 girls around, Katie enjoys running, golfing, playing volleyball and softball. In the summertime, their family enjoys camping where they fish, kayak, and spend time at the beach. She also enjoys arts and crafts.
Katie looks forward to beginning a new adventure in the Gresham School District.


MS Soccer for any interested 5th-8th grade students will start practice on Tuesday September 7th from 4:00-6:00 pm behind Gresham School. There will be a parent meeting after practice on Tuesday as well at the soccer practice field. Make sure physical/alternate year paperwork is completed by Tuesday.


Rebecca Hoffman-HS English teacher-
Rebecca (Becky) Hoffman is our new high school English teacher. Becky graduated from Northern Arizona University with her MA in English. For the past ten years, she has been teaching college communication and English classes.
Becky will look familiar to quite a few as she has four children who have attended (and are still attending) Gresham School District: Kennedy (2019 grad), Fiona (2021 grad), Porter (10th grade) and Gryffin (9th grade). When given a rare free moment, Becky loves to read, write, or even draw.
The shift to teaching high school was a quick one for Becky, and she is excited to jump right in.
