On Wednesday, May 27, students and staff walked to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and in remembrance of two former Gresham Students, Cody Pluger and Jimmy Cerveny. Here are some statements from their family members.
Codys Family~ "Yesterday, Gresham School and the community walked in honor of two former Gresham students who battled Cystic Fibrosis, Cody Pluger and Jimmy Cerveny. The walk not only raised awareness but raised well over $1000, and 139 CF t-shirts were sold. Mr. Smith and his family would like to thank the community, staff, and students for all of their incredible support. It was truly a special day. Thank you again to all of those who were involved."
Jimmy's Family~ "We would like to thank all who walked and came out to support the CF effort today. Little Jimmy was proud and was walking with us. Thanks again to Ben Smith's family and Cody for sharing this day with Jimmy. "

The Gresham SkillsUSA and Gresham Lions Club are teaming up for their FIRST EVER Gresham 5K. It will take place on Saturday, June 27, BEFORE the 4th of July Parade! The course is set, and rumor has it Pingel's Hill is in it 🤫 Prove to your family and yourself that you can take it on!
Register before June 20th to guarantee a T-Shirt and Bag for you!

Last night, the Gresham Booster Club hosted its annual Winter/Spring Sports Banquet. Sports that were recognized:
-Girls Basketball🏀

They were also honored to present other awards to:
-Student-athletes with a minimum GPA of 3.5 AND lettered for a varsity sport
-Senior athletes for their dedication to Gresham Sports

Last night at the Regional Track and Field Meet, Emily Jensen placed FIRST in Discus, making her a REGIONAL CHAMPION! She also placed SECOND in Shotput! Emily will compete at the Sectional meet in both events and hopes to punch her ticket to state with a top four finish at Sectionals!
The Sectional meet will take place in Hilbert on Friday, May 29. She is the ONLY athlete from the Gresham-Bowler Track and Field team to move on, so be there and support her!

Reminder to Elementary Parents - there is a field trip to Bay Beach on Tuesday, May 26th. Please dress your students appropriately for the weather. Apply sunscreen at home.

The doors will open at 6 pm for graduation tonight.
There will be a van leaving Gresham School at 3:15 pm to take any HS Track & Field members to Bowler for practice today.
The middle school students toured Lambeau Field as their end-of-year incentive! They got to see the field up close and walk around the complex!
High school students got to enjoy the warm weather with their end-of-the-year incentive! They participated in games like:
-Tug-of-War
-Sponge Relay
-Long Ball Pass
and much more! The teams were split by grades, but teamed up to play a giant game of kickball.

The fourth grade class spent the perfect day hiking the Ice Age National Scenic Trail to the Dells of the Eau Claire County Park last week. They explored the unique landscapes and natural beauty of Wisconsin.
