MS Soccer Practice and MS/HS Cross Country practices are cancelled for today due to the weather.
The MS Volleyball match versus Menominee Indian today at 4 pm is at the middle school in Neopit.
Homework club begins today! It runs from 3-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesday, it runs from 2pm-5pm. Please make sure your student is registered if they plan to attend. Forms are found in the office.

The 7th/8th grade Physical Education class worked on some team building challenges today!
It is 9-11 and I was just thinking about where I was when the attack on America started to happen. I was at school-doing prep in my room-when Kim called to tell me that a plane had flown into the Twin Towers. The rest of the day, all of the teachers and staff where wondering what was going on and why was it happening. I think back to the loss of life-3000+ people (if I remember right). I remember wondering if anyone that I knew was involved in the collapse of the towers. I thought about the policemen/women and firemen/women that woke up that day and never made it home. I thought about the men and women that got on a flight and never made it home. I thought about the people that went to work in the Twin Towers that day and never made it home.
I hope that the world is a better place now-then, it was then. I hope that we can come together as a people like we were in the weeks that followed the tragedy. I hope that we never have another event like 9-11. Please take a moment to talk to your families and students about 9-11. We need to remember what happened that day. It is said “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”-George Santayana. I hope this is never repeated.

Welcome Kristy Erickson!
Kristy Erickson is an Associate Director of Student Services for CESA 8 and privileged to be able to spend 50% of her time in Gresham. Kristy previously taught Special Education in the Clintonville School District before transitioning to a District Program Support Coordinator. In June 2020, she received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and gained Wisconsin licensure to be a Principal and Director of Pupil Services. The past two years, she has been in the Shawano School District as the District Special Education Coordinator.
Kristy and her husband Adam have three children, Ila (10), Owen (7), and Evelyn (4), and are expecting a new bundle in 2023. They also operate a 500-cow dairy farm and custom-harvesting business with Adam's parents south of Clintonville. When time allows, Kristy can be found doing remodeling projects, landscaping, traveling, attending concerts, playing games, and spending time on the water with family and friends.
Kristy looks forward to getting to know you and serving the Gresham School District.
