Gresham picked up two non-conference wins on Saturday beating Florence in game one and Gillett in Game two. In game one Gresham beat Florence 15-5. Lucas Pecore picked up the win striking out eight, while walking three and giving up four hits. Leading Gresham at the plate was Belasaire Vele going 2-3 with 2 RBI’s and three runs scored, Austin Sperberg going 2-4 with 2 RBI’s and four runs scored, and Corbin Welch going 2-3 with 2 RBI’s and two runs scored. In Game 2 Gresham beat Gillett by a score of 5-3 in 8 innings. Jack Haffner picked up the win on the mound striking out seven. Leading Gresham at the plate was Bryson Nelson going 1-3 with with 2 RBI’s and Wesley Thiex going 3-4 with 3 RBI’s.

Congratulations to Mr. Dieck and Mr. Wild for their triumphant victory over Brayden and Wesley in the 2022 cornhole championship.

On Wednesday, our 8th grade students were invited to attend the Clintonville Middle School 8th Grade Career Fair. Students were able to meet with 53 vendors to explore career paths that relate to work right after graduation, attending a technical college, the military, an apprenticeship program, four-year degrees and beyond. They enjoyed the hands-on experiences and opportunities to have conversations directly with those currently employed in their respective fields.

Gresham beat White Lake 8-7 on Thursday. Leading Gresham at the plate was Lucas Pecore going 3-4 with a two run homerun and 4 RBI. Austin Sperberg went 3-4 with 3 RBI and also picked up the win on the mound. Gresham hosts Marion at 4:30 Friday.
