The 8th grade Agriscience class made Play Doh in class while studying
about wheat as an important crop in agriculture.
The Food Science class has been busy butchering tomatoes and other veggies to make several varieties of canned salsa. Thanks to community members for donating veggies to the class to learn about processing and value adding!

Today students in US History II showcased their learning about imperialism and the Spanish American War by participating in a debate about imperialism. Students were divided into pro and anti imperialism team to convince me which position was best. Students wrote arguments based on their reading of primary sources and putting themselves in the mindset of early 20th century leaders and thinkers. Overall students did a really great job!
Biology classes had fun completing a Water Tower project today looking at the engineering design process.
