The Gresham Bands are celebrating Music in Our Schools Month! Music in Our Schools Month serves the purpose of raising awareness towards the importance of music education -- and to remind the community that all children should have access to music.
One opportunity we have during this fine month is to participate in Heid Music's Big 10+ Photo contest! This allows us the chance to win some cool prizes to add to our music department. We are asking for community support to go towards our votes! All you have to do is go to the link at the top of this post, enter your name and email to vote, and then go give a little heart to the photo of our band :) We thank you for all of your support!!

We are proud to celebrate our “Breakfast Heroes” here at Gresham School. Mr. Haffner presented Carrie Bohl and Sue Welk a plaque for their hard work during the pandemic. Providing meals at home, in the classroom, and much much more. #PoweredByBreakfast

Favorite Book Character Day, the elementary team of teachers dressed up as “Kindness Rocks” from the books, Rock on Kindness! Pass It On and Rock on Kindness! Even When Your Heart Hurts. Both of the books were written by our very own speech pathologist, Stepheni Curran! ♥️

Day One of the Band's March Madness competition resulted in Amparito Roca beating out Marche Diabolique! Today, we're listening to Fairest of the Fair VS Manhattan Beach March -- both composed by the KING of Marches, John Philip Sousa.

How many 9 and 10 year old published authors do you know? How about 24! The 4th graders wrote an informational paragraph during their literacy unit on the Middle Ages and with the help of Mrs. Onesti, they created their illustrations. Congratulations 4th graders!
